Xinfrared = InfiRay?

I’ve been searching for the Xinfrared T2 for a while without luck. Now i found this one on a Dutch site. It looks like they are trying to state that Xinfrared and InfiRay are the same. Does anyone in here have knowledge of this?

InfiRay T2 Pro thermal camera for Android (eleshop.eu)

Other sites also writes the same “InfiRay (Xinfrared)”.

    Hi Lars,
    Basically, yes. The exact details are a bit vague. But in the end most thermal monoculars from Infiray, Lahoux, and Xinfrared are all using the same older sensor (and sometimes even the same body) from Hikmicro, just with different software supporting the camera. This means you will basically always have a worse sensor than buying from a brand that produces its own sensors such as Hikmicro or Pulsar. This being said, I am not sure how it works for this exact particular T2 model.

    TLDR:
    Yes, they are the same brand.

    I hope this helps! Happy mammalwatching!

    Hi Jonathan

    Thanks for the answer. I’m looking for a pulsar as well (or I’m planning for my worklplace to by one) so this was both out of curiosity and I was thinkin of buying one as well for my self due to the fact that its a lot cheaper and had great rewievs here.

    Cheers

    Yes, from my research I also concluded that Xinfrared and InfiRay are the same.
