Who is at the UK Birdfair this weekend? Plus thank you to all our advertisers, supporters and contributors
Hello Mammalverse
If anyone is going to be at the Birdfair in the UK this weekend please do let me know. Charles Foley and I will be wandering around in search of Bush Dog intel, trying to convert the birders to the one true faith, and giving a talk at 5.30 on Saturday. I’m looking forward to catching up with friends who I have travelled with – or been guided by – over the years. The Birdfair is also a chance for me to say thank you in person to many of you, including the guides and operators that advertise on this site, some of whom choose to advertise because they want to support the (ever more expensive) running costs and keep this website going. Without them the site would be a lot slower, a lot clunkier and a lot less pretty. If only advertising could do the same for me.
So thank you to everyone in the Trip Provider’s Directory (see here https://www.mammalwatching.com/resources/trip-providers/) . If you are looking for inspiration for your next trip then do check these people out. They are the creme de la mammalwatching creme. One or two are at Birdfair too so if you are there then why not pester them to pioneer new trips.
And on the subject of thanks then I also want to give a very big shout out to Re:Wild for supporting the site, for those who have bought me (multiple) coffees this year, and to everyone who has taken the time to submit a report or make a supportive comment! We can never get enough of either.

Hi Jon, If you stop by the WildWings stand it would be nice to say hello. All other mammal watchers in the area are welcome to do so to.
