The Weekly Recap

Hello and welcome back to the weekly recap.

The week started off with this trip report of a Royle Safaris expedition to Nepal! Although they didn’t see a Clouded Leopard, their target species, they did see 12 other great species like Himalayan Red Pandas, Hodgson’s Giant Flying Squirrel and Yellow-throated Martens.

The next part to Dave Griswold’s Kenya trip is here, with a report from Maasai Mara NP: Cheetahs, Bush Hyrax and Eastern Black Rhinos are some highlights.

These two trips reports from Sabah, Borneo are funnily enough both by John Ws – John Weir and John Wright, and exactly 2 months apart… There must have been a glitch in the matrix, but they both saw over 40 species and have great pictures!

Robert Foster’s trip to Grasslands NP, Canada includes a very fluffy Black-tailed Prairie Dog, a wise American Badger and Richardson’s Ground Squirrel.

These 11 days in Kenya and Uganda were packed full of mammalwatching, with 48 species including Angolan Fruit Bats, Chimpanzees and Spotted-necked Otters in Zhou Fangyi’s great report.

Greg Easton’s report from Alaska features the greatest Spotted Seal photo of all time (fluffy, chubby and indignant), several Grizzly Bears, Musk Ox and more.

Finally, Tom Terleph’s trip report from Thailand has some great finds like Yellow-throated Marten, a Sun Bear and a Chevrotain whose legs look like those of a shaved poodle.

It may be too late, but Moses Swanson was asking for some urgent info for Udzungwa NP a couple days ago, so comment if you can help.
