The Mammals of China … and Happy Year of the Snake

Here is a new checklist of the mammals of China that has been released just in time for the Lunar New Year. I’m hoping to return to that huge mammal-filled country before too long to see some more.of these.

Meanwhile a happy new year of the snake to all mammalwatchers in China!

    Thank you – from someone Chinese living in the US. My first mammal trip was following your footsteps to Foping in search for giant pandas. It was a magical experience. I never knew you could visit places like that in China before.
