Sea of Cortez island mammal
I was recently fishing on the Sea of Cortez near Archangel Island (also called Snake Island) when we 3 of us in the panga saw a jet black cat sized animal. It had short legs like a mink, with a beautiful black long hair coat. Our pongero who had been fishing these waters for over 50 years had never seen such an animal. It moved too fast and ducked into some boulders before we could get a picture. Does anyone know what we were looking at?
