Hi everyone! I spent my summer researching Milne-Edwards’ Sifakas in Ranomafana National Park and had a wonderful time. Below is my extensive trip report detailing every day of my trip, all the mammals, birds, and reptiles I photographed, and many more inclusions from my long stay. I hope you enjoy it!

Hi Jon,
Yes, it looks like it has been documented before: https://www.nature.com/articles/srep01768. You’ll have to go have a look at the white-tailed tree rat’s tree sometime!

I checked with Patrick Richard who guides in the park and leaves there. He knows your rat hollow tree and confirms it’s a white-tailed. I’m envious. Very cool about that hibernating lemur. Has that ever been documented?
