Land Mammals on Xeno-Canto.org!
Carlos Bocos already mentioned it here, but here some extra info! The developers of the website Xeno-canto.org have made the necessary adaptions to place sound recordings of Land Mammals. This website was already a well-known institution for Bird sounds, and since they recently made the technical changes to allow (ultrasound-) WAV-files, also for Grasshoppers, Amphibians and… Bats! Together with Koen Betjes, Marc Anderson and Dante Buzzetti, I have supplied my mammal recordings as a test dataset, and they are available now.
I look forward to uploading my sounds I just recorded on Sumatra, Mentawai, Malaysia and Thailand (and implementing these in the trip reports for this Mammalwatching of course)
