Join Dry Chaco Wildlife Tour in Paraguay with 40% discount!

Tour dates: September 12-23 (12 days).

Working hard on preparation to a special expedition-style trip in remote and beautiful Paraguayan Chaco Seco for three tourism students we’ve been notified that they will not be able to come because they were traumatised doing extreme rafting. It is so painful to cancel such an interesting trip and we decided to seek for participants among fellow mammalwatchers since the tour program includes some prime mammalwatching destinations. Because of short notice and original non-commercial idea of the trip the price is minimal, just 1670 USD per person if we’ll find three participants (includes guiding, transportation, accommodation and meals). The trip is focused on mammals but we can easily add birdwatching or general wildlife watching on request.

Our secret locations for observations from a hide provide good chances to have close-up encounters with enigmatic South American species such as Giant Anteater, Lowland Tapir, Tayra, South American Coati, and Geoffroy’s Cat to note a few. Other great species we will look for while walking and driving are Ocelot, Jaguarundi, Chacoan and White-lipped Peccary, Azara’s Night Monkey, Plains Viscacha, Chacoan Mara, Screaming Hairy and Three-banded Armadillo, Molina’s Hognosed Skunk and Common Vampire Bat among many others.

I can say that from everything I read about Andrey and Karina’s reports, podcast episode, and conversations on Facebook – I can tell that they are REALLY knowledgeable about the wildlife of the Chaco region!!
If I hadn’t already been there, I would jump on this opportunity. I’m already jealous of whoever is going 🙂

Best of luck Andrey and Karina – I’m sure you will find fun participants and I’m already looking forward to the trip report!
