IUCN Specialist Group websites and newsletters
For those of you kicking around the house over the holidays looking for something interesting to read, we would like to draw your attention to this new page that we added to the site recently:

It provides links to all of the mammal-related IUCN Specialist Groups that offer newsletters or publications on their websites. Many of these provide excellent sources of information about the status and distribution of rare and unusual mammals around the world, frequently in the form of short notes or easy to read articles. Some articles have to be read online, but many can be downloaded either as individual papers or as whole newsletters. Many also provide access to old copies of newsletters, which are well worth perusing. If you discover other Specialist Group sites that offer newsletters, let us know and we’ll add them to the list.
