Interested in joining a 10-day trip to Vietnam in September 2025?
I’m planning a 10-day trip in Vietnam in September 2025, tentatively from September 7 to 16. Mr. Tuan, well-known to many on this site, will be the guide. Cost will depend on the number of participants. Tentative itinerary is as follows:
Day 1: Travel to Van Long Wetland NR
Day 2: Search for Delacour langur (endemic) in Van Long Wetland NR.
Day 3: Travel from Van Long to Quang Binh by car/ or internal flight from Ha Noi to Dong Hoi Airport, visit surrounding Phong Nha Ke Bang NP to look for White-cheeked gibbon and Stump-tailed macaques.
Day 4: Travel to Da Nang city, check-in to hotel and go to Son Tra mountain for the Red-shanked douc langur
Day 5: Red-shanked douc langur and travel to Nui Thanh District (2.5 hours), stay overnight in the town
Day 6: Grey-shanked douc langur
Day 7: Return to Da Nang city by car and flight to HCM city, then travel to Cat Tien NP
Day 8-9: Cat Tien NP (Black-shanked douc langur, Southern yellow-cheeked gibbon, Annamite Silver langur, long-tailed macaques, pig-tailed macaques, Gaurs, Red Muntjact, Deers…)
Day 10: Travel HCM airport and flights home.
