Dutch birder living the life in the Eifel, Germany. With a garden list of 20 species of mammal. Although I did not see them all by myself (my wife saw a beautiful white Stoat), my cat delivered three species; Montane Water Vole, Short-tailed Field Vole and a Least Weasel. A European Mole was found dead in the garden and Red Deer is as yet a heard only. Best mammal on the garden list is a European Wild Cat, caught only once on the trail cam.

A fantastic spot. For those wishing to go later in the year, I had no trouble seeing the ibexes at the end of May but failed, in an admittedly quick look, in August presumably because they were very high.
