Ecuador – July 2023

16 days and 36 species of mammals including Oncilla, Spectacled bear, Mountain tapir, Western pygmy marmoset and Olinguito.

Locations visited: Amazon, Papallacta, Antisana reserve and Cloud forest on both the eastern and western slopes of the Andes.

    And great oncilla sighting among everything else!

    Rest assured you are not the last mammal watcher to visit Ecuador for the Andean species.. I will do this in 2025. Either this or Colombia for all the same species. We’ll see 🙂
