Community meeting and mammalwatching NUTTER awards

Hello everyone,

We are thrilled to announce the next Mammalwatching Community Meeting – a gathering dedicated to everything related to mammals: sharing mammal stories, celebrating mammal adventures, and connecting with the community! 🦏🐒🦇
We will be selecting the nominees for the NUTTER awards – a very honourable task! Also don’t forget to submit your 2024 reports until then to have a chance to be considered.

What to Expect:

  • Time to connect with fellow mammalwatchers – meet the names behind the trip reports, share your adventures, and swap tips for the year ahead.
  • Updates on ongoing community projects, and of course, the NUTTER awards.
  • We will select 5 nominees per category for the whole community to vote for in the week after the meeting

NUTTER Award Nominations:
We’re asking everyone to nominate reports for the 2024 NUTTER awards before or during the meeting. During the meeting, we’ll be selecting our top 5 in each category based on the nominations, so don’t miss your chance to contribute! The categories include:

  • Best report
  • Most inspiring conservation project/person/place visited
  • Best first report
  • Outstanding guide
  • Best and worst mammalwatching moment
