Colombia guides

Hi,

Next year we plan to visit Colombia one month early next year. I speak Spanish and have visited the country several times. We will travel independently but would like to get recommendations of wildlife guides who can help us finding mammals and birds. Any suggestions?

Regards,

Svante

    Hi,

I have had the pleasure of working with a Colombian guide for two years now. His name is Luis Gles, his company is Woodstars Tours, https://woodstarstours.com . He works on St Paul island in Alaska during the summer months, and Colombia the rest of the year. He is primarily a birding guide, but worth inquiring with about mammals. A great guy, very knowledgable.

You could get in touch with Rob from Wild About Colombia. We had a great trip with him a couple of years ago and you could do a few days with him to do some of the areas that are difficult to do independently.
