I spent several months doing bird work in Tai forest back in the 90s. It is a spectacular place. I should put together my mammal observations from there, and tracks we saw/found. The diversity of diukers was great, I only wish I had the camera setup I have now back then. Magical moments with Zebra Diukers and various others. We would hear Bongo snorting, and find forest elephant tracks as well as Pygmy Hippo scat… but I never saw them. It would be great to go back one day. Anyone who goes there is lucky, such an amazing forest.
