A Reminder: Finish off those trip reports now to be considered for the 2024 NUTTER Awards

Hello everyone,

As you must surely know, the Mammalwatching NUTTER awards – for the most Notable, Unique, Tantalizing, Tenacious and Enlightening Reports – are the social highlight of the mammalwatching year. Our annual red carpet moment. We may have a little less glamour than Hollywood but our winners have all seen more mammals.

In early January, the FELIS team and others will be making the award nominations, which you all will have a chance to vote on. The awards relate to reports published in 2024 so if you have an almost finished report sitting in your drafts folder then this may be added motivation to finish it off.

The categories are

  • Best report
  • Most inspiring conservation project / person / place visited
  • Best first report
  • Outstanding guide
  • Best and worst mammalwatching moment
