Thanx for visiting sweden and point out the the absurd hunting we’re on and have always been.
It´s a shame for my country.
Now we have started legal hunt on the Wolverine as well. 25 animals is on the list.
But the hunt, which was supposed to start on October 2, is now suspended pending a court hearing.
    Everything is a total mess.

Scandinavia have A LOT of wilderness but unfortunately nothing in it. Especially in mainland Norway which must be the worst country on earth when it comes to hunting wildlife? The country i viritually empty.

Your numbers are a bit wrong about Sweden. Last year there were “only” just above 60 000 Moose killed in hunting. The numbers has been going down for many years now. The forest companies are celebrating!

The hunters, they blame the wolfs as always…
Imagine you shoot up to 100,000 animals and then have the guts to blame the wolfs when the population declines… geez.

Hi Andreas, thanks for this and pointing out the moose numbers. It’s certainly very disappointing to see a modern, wealthy country like Sweden with such potential for wildlife but such an out-dated attitude to it… but as you say, Norway is even worse!
