Colorado and Yellowstone NP – 44 mammals in April 2024

We had a wonderful time in the mammal rich “Mountain States” of USA in April 2024 seeing 44 mammal species in 3 weeks including both bear species, 4 canids (including Wolf), Long-tailed Weasel, 8 grazing animals, 5 Rabbits/Hares and dozens of rodents including Ord’s Kangaroo Rats and a Northern Pocket Gopher. Only one night was spent spotlighting which revealed 10 species in 4 hours.
