UK Big Mammal Day and new Ethiopian Trip Report

John Wright is just back from 2.5 weeks in Ethiopia. He saw 42 species including Yellow-winged Bat, Gambian Sun Squirrel, Gunther’s Dik-Dik, Gerenuk and Ethiopian Wolf.

Richard Moore sent me this short account of an impromptu Big Mammal Day, around Norfolk UK) last year. In 19 hours he netted 25 species (despite spending some of the time in the office!) including Western Barbastelle Bats and Yellow-necked Mice.
