Here a honey badger named Stoffel, rescued from a trap and sent to live at an animal rehab center in Kruger National Park in South Africa, manages to outwit even the most secure-seeming means of keeping him contained.
His keeper, conservationist Brian Jones, details several of the Houdini-like honey badger’s more impressive escapes.
“This is like a game for Stoffel,” says a befuddled Jones. “Every time I devise some plan it was like a game for him to work out how could he get over this.”
