Searching for pictures of rarely photographed deer

Charles Smith-Jones asked me to post this request on his behalf … This is  a difficult list: I haven’t seen any of these (and I haven’t even heard of a a couple of them!)

I am writing a general reference book entitled A Guide to the Deer of the World which will be published in 2022 by Quiller Publishing in the UK and will cover all cervids, musk deer and chevrotains.  The IUCN are already being very supportive, as have individual members of iNaturalist.com, but sourcing photographs of some species is proving to be a very serious challenge and maybe you have obtained pictures of some of them during your travels.  In most cases I only need one good image of a representative animal, and do not worry if the identification is uncertain as I can confirm or otherwise.  They are:

Northern pudu Pudu mephistophiles – Colombia, Ecuador and Peru (I already have an image, but another would be very welcome)

Gongshan muntjac Muntiacus gongshanensis – China and Myanmar

Leaf muntjac Muntiacus putaoensis – northern India and Myanmar (several images if possible)

Anhui musk deer Moschus anhuiensis – China

Kashmir musk deer Moschus cupreus – Afghanistan, India and Pakistan

Black musk deer  Moschus fuscus – Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar and Nepal

Himalayan musk deer  Moschus leucogaster – Bhutan, China, India and Nepal

I am afraid that as the publication is for a very limited market I have no funding available but you would of course be given full photographic credit.
