A new species has been described and it seems there are another two species on Borneo along

Thanks. There is only one instance of sympatry, and the sample size is small, so we don’t know if there is any hybridization in that area. Which means that at least 3, and possibly all 4, are PSC-only species so far.
Note, however, that the paper was mentioned by BBC, CNN, and pretty much everybody else, so most people will take it as solid science, while in fact all of the paper’s conclusions are premature in absence of nuclear DNA evidence.

Has anyone seen the original paper? Is it yet another declaration in “these subspecies should be considered full species because I need more publications in my resume” style, or do they provide nuclear DNA data to support it?
