New Trip Report: Kauai (Hawaii) – Hawaiian Monk Seals

    Nice. Had both in O’ahu in 2007.

    Good report Cheryl, and great gen. I never saw reports of any beaches where they were likely. A birding buddy told me he saw them at the Kauai lighthouse. There is a lay by before you go into the lighthouse, they haul out on the rocks below. Pretty far away compared to yours, though.
