New Trip Report: Bolivia
Here’s a second report from Janco van Gelderen. I really do need to visit Bolivia it seems!
Kaa lya and Amboro, 2019: Janco van Gelderen, 1 week & about 30 species including Jaguar, Margay, Jaguarundi and Ocelot.

I think the mouse is PEARSON´S CHACO MOUSE (Andalgalomys pearsoni) wich fits perfectly with the color I have on my photos.
The other option is Gray leaf-eared mouse (graomys griseoflavus) but it doesn´t fit really with the color and it´s also alot bigger “rat like” and if I remember correct it was not this big.
It´s definitely a juvenile Ozelot. I have full body picture of it and the tail just hardly reach the ground.
I don´t think there is any Margays here in this very very dry thorn bush.

Nice trip, but are you sure it’s an ocelot? Looks like margay to me – of course, it’s difficult to tell from the face alone.
