New Trip Report: Ecudaor
A great report from Michael Kessler, featuring his 1000th species (congratulations!) and showing again the power of a thermal scope.
Papallacta, San Isidro & Wild Sumaco, 2019: Michael Kessler, 6 days & 40+ species including Dusky Shrew-Opossum, Poeppig’s Woolly Monkey, Mountain Tapir and lots of bats and rats.

Nice mammals. I was at most of those places in 2008 on a birding trip and I never even thought of looking for mammals at night. Well I will next time for sure.
