Help with rodent ID – Paraguay
Any clue what this rodent might be?
Found in Paraguay, central chaco area close to a lagoon.
Quite big, estimate the body to around 17-18cm.

It’s a democrat. They are quite a nuisance on both coasts of the unites States !
