New Trip Report: Mexico

A really great report from Venkat Sankar, who spent 10 days in Mexico last month and saw a lot of cool endemics most of which I have never heard of!

Mexico, 2016: 10 days & 42 species including Durango Chipmunk, Smoky Pocket Gopher, Southern Rock Mouse, Volcano Rabbit and Mexican Giant Shrew.

    Exploratory trips are always like that: all you remember afterwards is endless driving 🙂

    In my experience, the best trip is usually the second one. Unless the first time you have a lot of time and can explore each location for as long as you want, but that rarely happens.
