If yesterday’s post about where to see the world’s cetaceans got your pulse racing then this trip from the Whale and Dolphin Company might be a cure. Some mouth watering species and tropical seas.

Due to cancellations, places are available on two forthcoming Maldives cetacean cruises, both led by Dr Chas Anderson. On both trips some 10-12 species of tropical cetacean can be expected, including 2-3 species of beaked whale (Cuvier’s, Blainville’s, Longman’s and Deraniyagala’s have all been recorded on previous trips). Dwarf Sperm Whale is also spotted regularly at this time of year.
