    Haha. On my trip to Kenya, we found lots of Cardioderma roosting both in pit toilet shelters (hanging from the roof, over the pit) and inside the pits themselves at Tsavo E and at Adamson’s Falls in Kora NP… Must be a common roosting situation for this species. Also found Cardioderma roosting in an unused sewage chamber in one village too. Sadly no Nycteris. I guess this is the kind of dedication it takes to see 126 species in 3 weeks :p

    I seriously debated posting this in case any of my non-mammal watcher friends find it and decide to never speak to me again…
