New Riverine Rabbit population found in the Eastern Cape
Some may be interested to hear that a new population of the enigmatic Riverine Rabbit has been discovered, quite unexpectedly, on the western side of the Baviaanskloof Nature Reserve in South Africa’s Eastern Cape (not far from Port Elizabeth if google maps is to be believed).
I don’t know much more other than what is here … but I know this is a sought after species, and one that can be hard to find. If anyone finds out more – or even visits the area – please do update us.
cheers
Jon

Marvelous to read! Though, Dunedin farm in my opinion still the place 2b. Owners of the host are just marvelous people and the ovenight stay location is a splendid place! Although very briefly, I was successfully in wining the game of hide and seek with the rabbit there! Cheers, Jan
