RFI: Badgers in the Midwest
Having dipped American Badger in Colorado last weekend, I’d like to find a spot closer to home (Columbus, OH) to search for them. They are present in Ohio, but they are apparently commoner in Indiana and Michigan. Does anyone know of a good site for Badger within a few hour’s drive of Columbus?
Thanks,
Ben

This won’t help your search, but as an historical note, I saw a badger in a cut over corn field at the intersection of Sawmill Road and I-270 in 1996. The field was in the northwest section of the intersection. All my previous sightings were in Wyoming. Finding one in the Columbus/Dublin area was a pleasant surprise.
