Nannomys
Small mice of subgenus Nannomys are among the most challenging African mammals for sight identification. If anybody needs a PDF of Bruja et al. (2014) review of this group, please let me know. Spoiler alert: there’s a lot more species than anybody thought, but many can be tentatively identified based on size, location and habitat.
