Stoat and Snow Vole

Jean-Michel Bompar sent me these really fabulous pictures of a Stoat with a Snow Vole that he took in the northern Mercantour in France. Tres cool! Apparently the Stoat emerged from rocks with the vole. Left the body on a rock, continued hunting, and then returned to pick up the vole.
