Conservation Status of Large European Carnivores
With thanks to Nicolas Gaidet who recommended I post this ….I was surprised and pleased to see such a positive assessment for several species in several countries

In 2012 the conservation status of European large carnivores was assessed by a group of experts from each country where large carnivores are present. Although the available data and the methodology used varied greatly from country to country, the information presented below represents the best available independent assessment of large carnivore status for the period 2010-2012.

I find it suprising there is so little bear watching information or trip reports available from Sweden. Look at the impressive distribution of the Brown Bear (and Lynx) in that country!
