Hi folks,
A good place to watch such a bat roosting in pitcher plants is Gunung Mulu National Park in Sarawak, Malaysia. See below for a link to a picture.
A Nephentes ampullaria pitcher plant at the so called Night Walk Trail was a regularly day shelter for such a bat, at least 2006 and 2007 when I spent some months there. You just have to check the pitcher plants just beside the boardwalk of the kerangas section of this trail.
Cheers
Dirk
