Duff, A. and Lawson, A. 2004. Mammals of the World: A Checklist. A&C Black, London. Precisley what you might expect from the title, this book lists all 5069 of the world's extant species, along with the countries in which they are found.

Mammal Data Add On for BirdBase and BirdArea, Santa Barbara Software Products. Many birders are familiar with the BirdBase software. This database of bird species allows birders to compile trip reports, regional and life lists etc. Santa Barbara Software now produce a Mammal Data Add-On for their software.
